Join us for the Emerging Groundwater and Urban Infrastructure conference, a one-day conference to bring together professionals from multiple sectors who are all facing the complex challenges of groundwater flooding and groundwater infiltration. Why attend?

  • Network with colleagues tackling the same problem in different sectors
  • Find out: how others are tackling the problem
  • Be part of the solution: the aim is to publish the outcome as policy and good practice recommendations.

Our speakers include:

  • Andrew Hagger: Head of System Modelling & Insight, Thames Water
  • Ally Potts: Head of Technical – Clean River and Seas Task Force, Southern Water
  • Alex Jones:  JBA Consulting
  • David Macdonald: Independent Consultant Hydrogeologist

We are exploring the possibility of online attendance but are unfortunately not able to offer it at this time. Please monitor the website and social media for updates.

If covering the cost of a ticket is difficult, please reach out to the committee. We’ll work with you to explore possible solutions. Please note, VAT does not apply to the registration fee.

GeoSmart, a specialist in groundwater, flood risk and analytics, is proud to sponsor this conference.

Our data and services have been bringing visibility on subsurface processes for 12 years. Our latest hydrological analysis uses machine learning to bring new insight on groundwater in sewer and drain infiltration.  We deliver real time groundwater level and flow forecasts for baseflow, water resources, flooding, and sewer infiltration.

We also provide GB flood risk mapping and data for all flood sources including groundwater on a consistent basis:  The most localized and accurate national mapping available and the only data consistent with NAFRA2 including groundwater on a quantitative national basis.

Our automated reports, portfolio review analytics and property data, including climate change to 2100, are in widespread use for insurance, lending, asset management and property transactions.
